There is obviously going to be an end of the Planet Earth, the planet is a living being, and all material living beings have a natural end.
As for the actual Apocalypse, from the Bible, it should NOT be interpreted as the end of the World, or as a prophecy of some kind. The Apocalypse is actually an analogy between the end of all things, and the end of each our lifes.
I mean, instead of looking at the apocalypse as a description of the end of the world, you should read it as a metaphor of the end of your life.
