The Blank Daydream

I've always daydreamed. At one point in my life, I used to get continuously yelled at. I'd find myself daydreaming and thinking about something else in the meantime. While it happens, I hear words but forget them in moment's time. I see what's going on but does nothing to change it. I often daydream when I dislike the topic conversation I'm in. I also daydream when I'm bored. It happens really often, and I walk into walls or other objects. When people are talking to me, its not rare that even if the conversation is interesting, my mind wanders. Is this normal?
Do you think it's normal?

walking into walls? that only happens when i see a hot girl on the street. nah its perfectly normal to daydream and its even healthy ive heard. but maybe try not to daydream when people r talkin to u cuz they will think ur weird.
haha whats that like? ive never been able to.. i have OCD and ADD and i cant concentrate on one thing for more than a min let alone get into a state of daydreaming..lucky bastard
You have totally tuned out to protect yourself emotionally from verbal onslaughts. Now it has become common for you to not pay attention. That doesn't sound healthy.
