it is weird that every other event on the mayan calendar was accurate. And it just stops in 2012. Maybe someone lost part of the calendar. But it is weird, i think we are going to get a crazy virus, like the bubonic plague ish, and it kills us all off.

Just because ancient civilizations "predicted" the end of the world on 12/12/12, does not mean that it will happen.I'm not saying that they were stupid, primitive people, just that they couldn't predict the future.

Also, we have no real evidence that they predicted the end of the world on that date, just that their calendar ends there. 12/12/12 is not the most normal date in the the world. They might have just ended it there for no reason. We may never know.

And if an asteroid the size of jupiter were going to hit Earth in the next few years, any idiot with a half decent telescope would be able to see it.

There IS an asteroid headed for earth, but it's ETA is around 2030, and many say that it will miss completely.

It's about the size of Texas, and could POSSIBLY cause an extinction. But as I said, it will more than likely miss us completely.

Death to the human race! I would love an extinction level event. I know that it would end all life and we would be happy that humanity would be no more. Happiness is knowing that when the world come to an end nothing humanity every did would ever matter in the slightest. I fact all things will come to an end so what is the point. Eat, drink and me merry for tomorrow we die! I can only hope that my final exit will be of benifit for some people.
