Oh geez. Obey the law and you won't have a problem. My best guy friend is a cop and he is extremely fair, honest, and level-headed. I know there are crooked cops out there and I know profiling exists, but boohoo, life isn't fair. Don't break the law and you have nothing to worry about.
When I was dating my asian/black exgirlfriend, a guy broke in and tried to kill us with a butcher knife. I fought him off unarmed while the kids ran outside. Yes, I was preparing to give up my life to save kids that weren't mind.
Well, my MS screwed me over and I fell down onto my back fighting off this dude. I was completly helpless being attacked but ever time he got closer, I would fend off his attacks with a kick to the head (I was on my back) or to his arms.
After a while, I was soooooo happy to see the cops storm in and put a gun to both of us. They didn't know who the attacker was so it didn't bother me that the gun was on me as well. Although I did hold my own and absolutely thrilled I broke his finger in the process, I was competely unarmed and wore out from working my second job that day. There is no doubt the cop saved my life.
I would state yet AGAIN why we need them but this sounds like it is coming from a bunch of immature dumbasses who do not truly understand how needed police TRULY are.
I have rather huge gashes where the knife cut me, however this was truly a good thing I did and I would do it again. However, if I did do it again, I wouldn't be unarmed to save them.
