So i sit across from a woman who HUMS all day long. it serioulsy makes me want to pull out all of my hair.

The bad thing about it is sometimes it's just one note over and over and over again. It's never a real song , just stuff she makes up along the way.

Humming is fine, but when you hear it all day long and the person sounds like they have smoked for 50 years is different.

Here the humming goes again!!

Start humming very loudly back. That might shut her up. If not think of something equally obnoxious. She'll get the hint eventually.

walk by her and fart. when she goes for one of those deep humming breaths, she wont get air, only fart molecules

Well, I'm not sure what your job is....but if you were allowed, you could wear earbuds and listen to music, then you wouldn't hear her.

Other than that, could you talk to your supervisor and tell that person how annoying this is? Honestly, I don't know how you put up with it.

Ha - so funny & true what we put up with, and unknowingly do to other people.

Talk to her. She's just amusing/comforting herself. Be nice. Just tell her it is distracting & a little monotonous. Because its a habit offer to let her know for a while. But really it needs to stop.
