Normal? No, but not entirely unheard of, for as long as I can remember I've had recurring dreams and feelings of me being a wolf. Told this once to a pagan friend and they said that I might be a wolfwere (as opposed to a werewolf?) the best description I can find of wolfwere is spirit of a wolf born into a human body. You might be the same, just that of a dog. Sounds weird but believe it or not we're not alone, there used to be a forum for ppl like us, but I haven't been able to find it for a couple years now.

Furry means correlating your personality to an animal type. Technically a totem is somewhat furry. Yiff is fantasies of those "spirit animals" doing it.

Hi. I know a lot of people that have the same feeling that you do. You want to be treated as though you really are a dog, yes? To be loved as a dog, to think like a dog, play like a dog, love an owner like a dog would.

There are many people who feel the same way, and many people who like to care for such pets.
There is in fact an entire community of people who want to be treated as real animals and people who want to look after them.
They are not the yiffing furries.
They are a sub-culture of the kink community, but are not inherently sexual. It's called pet play. People pretending to be various pets. There is actually a large majority specifically devoted to people pretending to be dogs. This is called puppy play. It may not be exactly what you are looking for, but I think you should consider it.

Um you could just get a domatrix and well she will treat you like a dog. So hence you become one. It is normal a lot of people wish they were animals because they like to be followers and be able to just let life pass by with no worries on their mind.

pretty strange. as a child, i wanted to be a dog also, but that went away. because dogs have pretty boring lives, all they do is sleep, eat, poop. and they long to go outside. they never venture far and they are neglected by their owners. poor dogs lives, so boring.

well, being a dog is pret-ty attractive, because they get to sleep all day, pretty much sh*t wherever they want, and a lot get treated like babies. but i prefer my human skin.

As a child, I acted like a dog all the time. I just thought they were a really cool thing to me. It's good that you think it's wierd and it is a little bit. Being treated as a dog is sometimes not all good. Sure you get love from your owners, walks, treats etc. But you get yelled at by your owner when you do something wrong, you could possibly be beat by your owner, and sometimes your owners would forget to feed and water you. You have to think about those things. If that doesn't help, maybe this feeling will pass. If not, you could see a docter.

It makes perfect sense to me. If you grew up in a home where you were kind to animals, it would probably start there -

As a dog you get lots of love, food, walks and toys without much input required from you (the dog).

You never have to deal with or worry about earning an income, kids, getting married, living life.

Saying "It's a Dog's Life" is pretty much what you're after. I think you want to be babied and maybe not deal with reality!

yea its a bit strange mate, but im full on for the wolf thing, i think that would be cool, theres actually a crazy condition that cause hair to grow all over your body from birth, not sure the technical term for it but it something like hypo something, or wolfman syndrome, some people out of there way to marry these people cos they love the dog/wolf side of it? strange but not unheard of

Whenever I pass dogs, my first impulse is how much I despise them (they are barking at me for some idiotic reason), but I also pity them. They are such vile, base, pathetic creatures. They have no intelligence or higher faculties. They are trapped into being dogs...so I find your fantasy quite abnormal. Maybe you should rethink your fantasy...
