I don't like Lady Gaga's music that much, but I am fascinated by her physical transformation. She's about 6 years younger than me, and at this point, her public persona and appearance is obviously blatantly fake and I feel like she's kind of making fun of other pop stars who came and went before her. It reminds me of when I was in my twenties, about her age, and how I went the opposite route and had a natural look--I gave up makeup and bras (my boobs are small and don't sag), and I always wore "comfortable/casual clothing". When I was 24 or 25, I dressed up once for halloween with alot of makeup, fake boobs, false eyelashes, and a shorter blonde wig (i'm naturally a red head), revealing dress, and I had alot of fun that night not being myself...I even danced with people that I did not know (i usually can't bring myself to do that)...not to mention the extra attention I got for pretty much looking like a whore. So, what I'm getting at, is it normal to wish I had spent more of my twenties being fake in appearance, when I could get away with it? I think fake starts to look gross on a more mature woman. Some people still think I'm younger than I am, but now it just wouldn't make sense to look like something I'm not.
