yea
During winter break, yes.
12 hours a DAY? What r u a fucking owl?
there is no such thing as normal when it comes to sleep. It depends on your age, what you do with the time out of bed, your health, energy useage etc.etc.etc.
I know a girl who will sleep 15 hours if you let her. She is so fucking lazy.
That's normal, I always sleep that much. xD
Nope. 12 hours a day is def. NOT normal. Im insomniac... but when I DO sleep and before I WAS insomniac I would top 15 easy. Summer brake anyway. go to bed around 4 wake up around 8 leave by 10 =]]
wow>>>! you get to sleep that long? I'm lucky if I sleep 4~

I agree.
i do. i dont know why. if i sleep for like anything less, like 9 or 8, I feel fatigued and tired and dizzy. nothing is normal. its ok to not be a part of nothing. [if that made any sense]
NORMAL.
Oh yeah... I do it all the time. Even longer if i get the opportunity.
Sleelping that much is a symptom of clinical depression.
God, how I'd love to be able to do that...
Not on a regular basis, no. I sleep that much on weekends sometimes but a lot less during the week.
I got called a sloth for sleeping that long. That pissed me off. If your tired and you have nothing better to do...Why not???
i do it too over the weekend. i go to bed around 12, wake up at 12:30 the next day
no offence but humans are not bears or owls or nocturnal that's sorta wierd if it was winter break and u were living with squirrels with 200 acorns shoved in ur mouth and u were in a tree maybe not u woulld be like a tarzan just raised by squirrels o.O

I agree. Save your energy.
I normally sleep 12 hours only if I was really tired that day from sports or whatever. If you're really worried, why not go see a doctor? But there is nothing abnormal in this.
It's normal. Depends on how exciting she is!
it is not normal but it's probably happening for a reason.

this could be a subside effect of depression if you've been feeling blue for some time.

this could be hypersomnia, ehich is the opposite of insomnia.

or you might have narcolepsy if you find yourself falling asleep involuntarily and randomly or at feeling intense feelings like laughter, anger, surprise, fear, or even an orgasm.

ti could be something else too, but that;s all i know. it's probably treatable.
well you say I am an insomniac not I'm insomniac.
I had chronic sleep disorder when i was 12, i slept 18 hours a day and took 3 months off school. it could be that if its recent, but if youre from usa you wont be able to get the blood test because no offence but your health care sucks.
Totally normal. I do it too!
I would say its not normal. But if I can, I will sleep as long as I can, I can wake up, get something to drink and or pee... and go right back to sleep no problem.
I once sleept 25 hours one day, I didnt move, didnt roll over or even get up to use the bathroom. my parents didnt even know I was at home. I dont know why it happened. or what caused it. (I lost 4lbs in my sleep) it was menny years ago. usuly I sleep any where from 4 to 6 hours, but I find that if I dont get atleast 8 hours of un disturbed sleep, I can feel very slugish.
I can be very lethargic some times. :(
your just lazy haha
na i normaly sleep between 5 - 7 hours during the week then on sunday i sleep like 15 hours
Get a Job you bum!!
Man , you're just lazy, you're missing so much life by sleeping 12 hrs. a day. At least if you're gonna sleep that much get paid for it, get a job at a sleep research center.
yeah, i think it is. I only do this on the weekends though because I have insomnia and weekends are my chance to catch up since I normally only get 12 hours of sleep during weekdays.
@: kristin
and by 12 hours, I mean 12 hours as a total number of sleep time for Monday through Friday. Not everyday.
