yeah.. valentine's day really does suck.. Lately it's like Christmas.. all about spending more and more and more money. And the whole idea of valentine's day is gone

I don't think that valentine's day is that depressing. I don't have a girlfriend but still, valentine's day isn't the type of day that I get depressed over because others don't have feelings for me. I'm just being emo that way, but it's not as if I expected anything. I mean, at least it's interesting. Course, it's also an excuse to get people to buy more stuff, but every holiday is like that.

idk. its ur opinion. i personally rejected like, 10 guys on valentines day (all thru txt and email) personally, if they dont have the heart to ask me to my face, they arent worth it. like i said, its ur opinion. i love valentines day!

It sucks if your alone but there are many people who are in the same boat. Having a good friend of the opposite sex in the same situation is the best way to have a "not date" and enjoy a night out to avoid the depression.

I call it "Singles Awareness Day." I imagine it's nice when you're in a relationship, but generally it seems as if the day it just a reminder of singledom.
