weird sh*t that happened. - 11% Normal

When I was 9 my dad was scizophrenic and he drank alot.Anyway our two puppies died from our airconditioning leaking airconditioning poison, and my dad tied them up and put them under our bunkbeds. We had to sleep in the living room.And as my dad went to work and we went to school the dogs rotted under our bed,it smelt so bad. Finally after 1 week my dad dug this gigantic hole and put the puppies in it. And our neighbors called the cops and they thought we had murdered someone and was burrying them.The cops made my dad unburry them and the cops took the puppies and gave us a big fine because it was illegal.Your supposed to burry them in a cemetary.

Ha Ha Ha. I never buried puppies in a cemetary. I always buried them in my back yard.

Weird to think that you father let the dogs rotted under your own bed.

Heh. Chlorodifluoromethane and the more modern counterparts are really not that hazardous. They are heavier than air, but outdoors they won't generally hurt you. The gas itself isn't terribly toxic, and there would be plenty of oxygen in the air still even if you had a rather fast leak (ie, sudden puncture). I really doubt this killed your dogs.

Now that you mention it.. I recently had my 16 year old dog die and buried her in the yard...:'(..
Anyway, your dad was a terrible man. Also, it was not normal for him to stick them under your bed (VERY irregular), yet it was normal for him to bury them outside. Thats what the majority of pet owners do, anyway.

What your dad did was definitely NOT normal, but your dad, as an alcoholic and a schizophrenic, himself wasn't normal. I also wasn't aware that you couldn't bury pets in the backyard. I had mine cremated, and put in decorative urns on the mantle. I know that might be a bit odd, but it's comforting. If I move, my dog can come with me.

well we got ri of my first dog :( but my step mams dog lived to 19 and 3/4 and we got him cremated but i think it should be fine to bury them in the garden your home your pet your memory
