what should i do with my difficult friends???

OK I have these two best friends, their fab and all, but when the class is doing some thing and were working together they ether get really silly when its important and leave me to do the work, or when I'm trying to have some light hearted fun they trash it and say stop being so childish.
but we do have good and fun times to.
so what should i do?

Tell them that you seriously want to get a good grade on whatever you are doing, and if they dont stop you arent going to work with them anymore.
Or "pop a cap in their asses"

Find someone else to work with so they don't bring down your grade or talk to a teacher.
