My parents didnt talk to us and we had sex education at school which was fukn useless. The best way to learn about sex is with porn. Just start with naked women at first and then graduate to magazines of hetero sex and then graduate to 3 somes and stuff. Then let them discover other types of sec for themselves

i do not agree with your ages listed (7, knowledge, and 12 pregnant (almost physicaly inpossible)); though the schools do supple some degree of education, as to what goes where and the concerquences (but not enough).

and nor do i think that the children should be forced to watch there parents haveing sex, apart from the trauma it will cause it is just weird.

Sorry but your facts are out of date. Kids know about sex by age 5. They may not know that is how you can make a baby but they do know it feels good to play in that area. hear are some facts to back it up. I don't think discourage this is a good idea just makes them do these acts behind your back. I would rather know so I can do the right things instead of guessing.

What the hell are you talking about, kids used to watch their parents having sex? Yes I can agree that adults are stupid if they think children don't know quite a bit about sex by age 12. Parents want their children to stay babies forever, and want them to stay innocent, and this is very normal. What kind of parent wants to tell their 12 year old son to wear a condom, or take their 12 year old daughter to get put on birth control? It's more of a moral issue I think, but the fact of the matter is kids shouldn't be having sex at that age in my opinion. Unfortunately young girls can get pregnant some as early as 9 start their period. Our culture as humans has changed, because now children are taught to enjoy their childhood, and we live longer so their is no need for sex and marriage by age 15 like life used to be, this is a good thing. Sex is merely something we have to reproduce, and although it is pleasurable, I think sex should be for adults after we have stopped growing fully, simply because most teenage minds are no where near ready for a sex life, and especially children.

Well of cores parents want to keep there kids and especially there daughter from even thinking about sexual things. They do but we pretend its just them like to explore. Kids are given less credit. What I think is parents don't want there kids to know what sex is because there shamed by the act that is nnatural to do in the first place. I think the lack of responsibility parents have by having the schools teach there kids about this important part that parents not the school should be looking at.

Sex is natural though, boys get horny when they hit puberty, and so do girls, there is nothing wrong with sex, but people don't know how to teach their kids how to control themselves anymore.

Kids learn by example yet a book can not teach the emotional and physical control they are seeking from there parents. Now parents yell at there kids not to watch is like asking a kid not to eat the ice cream in the freezer. Until we understand as curious humans what it is we will keep exploring even if we get it wrong. Kids need to know and its hi time parents start doing what there suppose to be doing. I agree with that to an extent, but how exactly are parents suppossed to do that? I mean what if a 12 year old boy doesn't have his dad around, don't you think it would be kind of awkward for his mother to explain how to put a penis in a vagina? I grew up in a christian school, and in church so I don't really understand what's it like to have to go to public highschool, and be around kids who want to have sex with you. LOL. There is nothing more a parent can tell a child to not do or to do if he wants to try something. I really don't think schools should pass out condoms though, they should be more discreet with sex, and let them choose, but still give them enough information to make the right choice for themselves.

A 12 year old boy will know how to have sex dont worry about that, though if you dont want to teach your son you could leave some instructions up on the comp by "accident" then he might be read it or might not. I think so, only in high school though. Porn isn't a good way to learn about sex, why let them see fake fucking. We are mammals though, and we do still have an animal instinct though it's not strong, and our primary urges are the same as animals, some animals are more intelligent than others, some are stronger, we are the most intelligent and we have thumbs allowing us to manipulate objects easily, but we are not the strongest, we are just very intelligent animals. We have our technology, computers, guns, airplanes, cars that kind of thing and monkeys use stones as tools, and thats a sign of very basic technology.

Yea I did read that and I do remember I didn't agree with that at all, and I don't believe we are animals, because I believe in God and creation, and souls etc etc.... If we were really considered just another animal in everyone's opinion, then all the world would be different. Actually by definition humans are mammals, what sets us apart from other mammals?? monkeys are mammals they use technology, very very primitive yes and we may have been more advanced by the time we held a stone, but it still counts as technology, they also have prostitutes, like getting paid and everything. and a mammal is in the animal kingdom and anything in the animal kingdom is an animal, so we are, by definition, animals. We are just smarter than most of the others, we have a larger brain size- body size ratio, and we have thumbs. Just reproducing is more important for survival for the other animals than it is for us, as we can live a long time and even if we did have a natural predator we have guns to kill them. That gun thing brings me to my next point, we are brutal, more brutal than many animals, at least animals fight over getting a mate or territory, we will fight for the hell of it, we killed because someone has a slightly different view to us, we capture other humans and sell them into slavery, we still do all that stuff, and how many times have you seen a cat sell another cat into slavery??

Some animals are smarter than others, others are stronger, and some are neither smart or strong. We are smart but we aren't necessarily that strong compared to other animals.

And besides animals learn stuff, they dont learn as much as us sure, and they would be clueless on calculus but they can learn.

I understand animals have thoughts and can be very smart, but they won't change. I personally don't think the human IQ has ever changed because I look at art and history and I think well they weren't much different than we are now, except for the technology thing, but Egyptians were incredibly intelligent. I think the longer humans have been around the more we get bored with things and change our ways of life.

So, how does this or doesn't this make humans an animal? I know what mammals are, and perhaps humans are animals biologically, but in our everyday language we often use "animal" to term a creature that is not human.

Depending on which definition you use depends on whether or not we are animals, but we are basically arguing over terminology. Mammals are just a part of a classifictaion that somebody really just made up. I don't want to really go in to specific detail, but our DNA is almost exact with a chimpanzee, so maybe we are only 98% animal. The easiest way I can explain why I believe we aren't animals is because I believe we have a soul, and they don't we are beings not animals. I know you probably won't understand what that has to do with anything, but I just don't know how to explain it any other way.

Religion isn't frowned upon where I live, in fact everyone is so fucking religious round here, if you say you aren't a member of a church they think of you as a second class citizen. Well we discuss sex in our household the same as any other subjects. Whenever one of our kids ask us something about it we answer them the same as if we were discussing the weather. But we don't just wait for them to ask. We bring it up occasionally when the right circumstances present themselves. And we've encouraged our kids to come to us about anything, not just sex. Especially if they are being told not to tell us about it.

I don't think our kids are going to lack knowledge when it comes to sex issues in their life.

And for what its worth we don't freak out when our kid asks us something that totally freaks us out! This I believe has kept an open line of communication between us. My wife and I might freak out afterwards and the pillow talk can be lengthy and intense but we don't freak out on our kids. I've had to swallow hard a few times.
