Hey folks, I'm studying in Spain and living in, my mind blow out when I noticed how rude some spaniards tends to be, I love their culture and their accent, however I feel sick when they turns racist and stupids(not judguing them) I speak Spanish perfectly(american Spanish) sometimes I don't understand them, I just don't understand the context of their talking 'face to face' it's kinda creepy, they're not interested in the communication, they don't give a flying fuck for what i'm talking about, whatever is, I think that it's just a Cultural Shock, let me know what do you think about, if there's any spaniards i'll be glad to meet him and talk about this.

It says on the Internet that Colombians speak the best Spanish, but it's hella dangerous in Colombia. I honestly don't know much of anything about Spaniards, but I do think a lot of them are really beautiful. Maybe it's just a cultural thing, like maybe Spaniards are more reserved or formal than say Mexicans?

I honestly don't know a lot of Hispanic people personally outside of my maternal relatives, but I've noticed that my Colombian relations are rather proper and kinda formal compared to say the Mexicans I've met in my life. I do want to say that I really love Puerto Rican people, they're like the salt of the Earth!

I've heard about this, but people are rude every where. Try talking to the ones in similar studies and hobbies of yours.

I am an American engineer that lived in Spain for 3 months doing Research and Development work several years ago. Spaniards think American/Mexican Spanish sounds retarded. Firstly, learn to say, "grathias". You must learn to use the "th" sound in place for an "s". Practice changing your accent by repeating everything that is said on the evening news on television. Secondly, remember you are in Europe where good manners are important. Por favor, grathias, hola buenos noches, etc. are importante. And, DONT hold your fork in your right hand.

I'm European and I've always held the fork in right hand and knife in left. It is very unusual here but nobody's ever frowned upon it at all.

But do hold them properly. handles hidden in the palm and fork tines downwards. The childlike American grasp wouldn't go down well in certain company, nor would swapping hands to use the fork as a shovel.
