Does anyone else sometimes wish they had been born an orphan. It sounds stupid but I don't know, I just think it might have been cool is all. No? I guess I just don't feel very close to my parents really. I don't miss them, they're just my folks actually I'd never call them that. They r my mum and dad. But I just don't really care. Is that wierd? It is wierd isn't it? Goddamit I'm f**king wierd.

I'm assuming your a teen but I might be wrong. Being in foster homes or group homes or whatever is not cool. Even though we don't get 2 choose our parents or family some is better than none. Have your parents provided you with clothes, food, and shelter? Raising yourself is no picnic. Sometimes we all get tired of parents; endless questions, always trying 2 prove us wrong, and always riding our ass about everything. I'm sorry your not close 2 your folks neither I'm I, but sometimes you'll feel lucky you have someone 2 call on even if you don't really want 2.

You do not have to like anyone. What you should always do is respect your parents. They will not be around forever. It is also very common for adolescents to resent adults, particularly parents who they feel are not giving them space and are intruding into their privacy. If you are responsible your parents should give you more freedom over time. Try to adjust and fit in. When you are of legal age you can move on.

Well, if you don't want to exist, then, sure. But I'm pretty sure you can't be born an orphan unless your parents BOTH die during childbirth.

I was born an orphan. Kind of. My mother abandoned me when I was a day old, so that slightly counts.

It's not as glamorous as it might seem. You will be put under some sort of foster care if you are born an orphan. That's not as fun. As if having foster parents would allow you to have closer bonds. In many cases, it's not like you're the only one to be there, so you'll probably end up with less attention anyways.

Ugh Smartperson is sooo dumb listen i was born as an orpan my mother died when i was 3 and my father couldn't cope with it so he killed himself so i had 2 spend 4 years in a foster home and trust me it was not fun i was always sad there cuz i didn't really feel any 1 cared about me until i got aopted
