World of Warcrft
My 2 flatmates ar complete losers.
All they do ALL day is sit next to each other and play that wanky game, World of Warcraft for hours on end.
They don't speak.
They occasionally eat.
They never socialise and are constantly complaining about being tired despite not having done anything remotely physical.
World of Warcraft losers.
I want to kill them both.
Is this normal??

Sitting for 8 hours a day in front of a computer pretending to be Zorag Master Elf and chatting to your dwarf pal Dingdong The Mighty is NOT normal.
Thats more than a billion us dollars every year, not including the actual selling of the game.

I think if you defend this behaviour you either play this inane "game" yourself or are in need of a woman.

Tha amusing thing about this whole situation is that both of them now suffer from physical ailments directly related to their lack of exercise....poor buggers.
Instead I have 2 geeks to bore me.
Ultimately though Corbin you're right..I shouldn't really give a care in the world for this nerdy behaviour.
I shall start robbing their crap immediately.
They won't notice because they are too busy flying on unicorns and trying to get to level 70....BORING!
What a couple of losers..
i play maybe an hour and a half on school days, and up to 4 hours on weekends when i have some more time on my hands.
im active, and probably in better shape than most of u people.
i wouldnt be saying that if i didnt sincerely mean it. not all WoW players are nerds with no life.
everything in life is bad if you overdo it, these nerd friends of yours need to realize that its okay to play WoW, its okay to enjoy it, but its not okay to let it take over your life. its just a goddamn game...
btw you sound more concerned than angry, i think you probably just leave them be and let them deteriorate, if youve seen the WoW episode of south park ull kno what i mean =P

I was just at one of my best freind' houses today, and he was glued to his computer playing WoW. It was the boringest thing ever. And even worse is that he can never just play a game properly. He joined a private server that his friend owns, and he gets a bunch of free shit.
I'm a nerd myself. I work for my school. I am very much into Web Page design and that sort of stuff. Hell, my school even pays me for it, but at least I have a life. I go out with friends somewhat regularly. I have a girlfriend who i am obsessed with. I have a life.
Not to say that online gaming or any type of video games are bad. I have a Gamecube (I'm waiting for pre-modded Wiis to be available) and a PS2. When I'm bored and stuck home "babysitting" my sister and theres nothing to talk about with my friends over AIM, sure I play those. And I also play Call of Duty 2 sometimes with my freinds either via the internet or private networks.
I am 100%% against MMOs because, they don't even feel like games, they feel more like chores. Sure, its exciting for the first few days; you're leveling up quick and discovering lots of "cool" stuff. But then as leveling starts to take longer, and Quests/Enemys become repetitive (the NPC enemies in WoW are insanely repetitive) it gets boring. The biggest case of this is Runescape. Because in Runescape to earn good money, you cant do anything fun. You either have to mine, woodcut, or fish (for non-paying members anyway). I would know, I had a level 72 Woodcutter. But it got boring as fuck, and I quit.
Ok, so anyway, WoW is for lamers. Kidnap your friends and lock them in a room with some sleasy girls. Hopefully its not too late and you'll be able to convert them back to normal people.

So, is it normal to play a lot of World or Warcraft? Yes. Is it normal to fail a class because of it? No. I would say keep the Warcraft, but log off and do something else every now and then.
For $15 a month you lose you're life, any social status, any respect from social people and gain the respect of losers and dorks.
Is it really worth $15??
