I want to know how many girls are gay or bisexual. Please tell me why? If you are, do you hide it or are ok with people knowing?

It does rather seem a strange question. For example I'm bi (I didn't vote because I'm male) because I am. It's like asking someone why they like choclate icecream rather than vanilla, it's just because they do, those are their tastes, and they didn't choose them.
when I ask why I mean what kind of feelings did you have to consider yourself such? How does it feel being in love? what can you consider love and friendship...gah! I dont know.. My thoughts are mixed up so I wanna know why? Why did you start to feel that way? Who's the person that made you consider being bi or gay? What feelings did you have? How does it feel?
So, I just discovered that by signing in and out I can vote indefinitely. All the lesbians in this poll are me.
I consider myself bisexual. I mostly prefer the same-sex, considering that the majority of my sexual fantasies involve other women. However, I don't call myself a lesbian because I often become emotionally attached to guys and would consider dating one if he offered to go out with me. (I'm not 100% sure because I've never had sex with anyone of either gender before.)
I am straight but I've been called bi before for calling a few other girls hot and for flirting once with a lesbian just for fun. I have zero desire to have sex with a girl but I have thought about it a few times.
i am 90% lesbian ;) but i dont classify myself as bisexual because i love chicks way much more then dudes :P
Do straight women find any sexual thoughts about other women really disgusting?
Cuz as a straight guy (who didnt vote because of that), I find any thoughts of whats under another guys clothes like......... sickening.
I think I'm a straight girl and I don't find sexual thoughts of other women disgusting should I? I think that women turn me on more than guys do.. though I've never been with one the thought does..
i dont know whats normal anymore since ive joined this website lol. there are so many different people in the world. i dont know if you should or not, or if i should or not, or whatever. I guess we're sjust going to have to go with whatever floats our boat.
I suppose you could call me a "closet bisexual," and I think one of the reasons there are a lot of us is because, sadly, it's easier to hide it. For me, it would be very hard to deal with the ridicule and disrespect that many gays/bisexuals go through every day, and I'm still attracted to men. So I stick with them.
Because of biphobia from straight and gay communities, and a lot of lesbians saying they won't date a bisexual woman.
I don't know.
When, I thought I was gay, I "came out".
But now that I know I'm bi, I'm too scared to come out...
I think I'd just go with the flow. If it happens, it happens. But with that said, I highly doubt I'd ever go down on a girl. So I'd make for an awful lesbian.
So according to this poll 133 women are gay/bi and only 39 are straight. That actually scares me a little. Love your penis.
i dont no if im bisexual, all i no is that i look at a beautiful woman the same as a hot guy, but i have only ever been with one man so i dont no if this is becase of my lack of experimentation, or if im really gay.

I hide the fact that I'm bisexual for a couple of reasons: I'm pretty sure if my mom found out we would never have the same relationship (and I have a really strong relationship with my mom), and if the people I know found out they would either think I was an attention-seeking slut, or a confused lesbian. Lastly, if I dated a guy all he would be working toward is a hot three-some with another girl. Is it so hard to share actually EMOTIONS and COMMON INTERESTS with your partner before you jump into bed with them?? :(
This is literally me! Except the mum thing (mine would be fine) but there are so many misconceptions about bisexuality with a lot of people not thinking it's real which makes it hard for those of us who are genuinely attracted to both sexes.
Also, did you just ask WHY people are lesbian/bisexual? Haha, it's okay I did the same thing when I was confused, too. I'll give you the same answer I got, "I don't know, I just do." But I will also tell you HOW I know. I always knew from a young age (early elementary school) that I liked boys, but I also knew that I liked girls the same way, but I never told anyone. Now, I just imagine myself in a relationship with a boy (emotionally and physically) and with a girl (emotionally and physically). But not at the same time! Haha! I hope this helps you and anyone else that is confused. :)
why? because i am attracted to both men and women. they both have things to offer. why pick one if you like/can have both? i wish everyone was bi sexual! :)

I'm bisexual because I find women extremely sexy and once in awhile I will find a man sexy too. I don't hide the fact that I am bisexual but I also don't parade around and tell everyone I meet.
Well I don't know. I'm mostly lesbian, but there is one male I do want. So I don't know because he honestly has the only dick that doesn't disgust me.

i dont hide that im bi, when i see a hot girl, i just think in my mind that i'd want to kiss that girl, but i've come close 2 having a gf...my frend came 2 spend the night and when we went to sleep, i got on her and started kissing her like she was awake, then she woke up and asked wat i was doing and i asked her 2 be my gf, she said ok then fell asleep, so i started kissing some more then went 2 sleep but wen we woke up the nxt day she thot it was a dream...so..ya!
