It's more of a reflex reaction than anything else. It's distracting, yes, but it doesn't leave me speechless or breathless, so I am still able to function cognitively. I certainly don't see her as just a "sex object" -- that's just the kind of subconcious reaction I have for her.
I'd be more worried if you didn't feel aroused by her at all. It is normal, at least for lucky guys. It's a very fun stage. I found out about it from one particular boyfriend. It makes it easy for you to be faithful, but it also makes you very attached, so if she breaks up with you, there will be an adjustment period while you get over her. It will take time. When you are looking for a mate, make sure she is also the faithful kind and you can have a long and happy marriage.
