What is there to be said? Leaders of nations are disregarding their own people to facilitate the wants of "adventurers". Western countries have been increasingly disrespecting their own people and subjecting them to cruel treatment in their own home/country for years now, and nobody will do anything about it because for some reason they believe that adventurers/immigrants are more entitled to your home than you are.
Nationalism needs to become popular again. Governments need to start putting their own people first, as it should have always been.
Fuck any leader that betrays their own people, let alone their God damn warriors who fought for them. It's absolutely atrocious.
Yup. Seems to have happened in the US in New York. In Europe housing has becoming a major issue and mass immigration has massively contributed to it. There are people here struggling to get decent homes, or homes at all, because our country thought, "Hey, let's house these adventurers before our own people".
Sigh. I swear there isn't a single good world leader any more...
I'm all for looking out for the people of other countries and I encourage it even but we need to make sure to take care of our own country too. It's possible to do both.
I don't mind helping people needing help, like genuine refugees such as the current Ukranians. I don't know if we should keep them indefinitely after their homeland gets through the issue that caused them to become refugees though.
I'm also not sure if we should accept mass amounts of people to migrate, even if they're refugees, if they are from a culture that is directly opposed to our own.
That being said, we are allowing mass immigration which makes it harder for us to take in genuine refugees when such people need shelter because we're so thirsty to bring in anyone who wants to come in for illegitimate reasons at the expense if our own purpose and own culture just so we can gloat that we have foreigners coming in as if that's more important to a nation than prioritising their own citizens.
Not only that, with the increase in population due to mass migration it makes it even harder for us to get access to the NHS, which we pay for with our taxes, because we now have to wait in line behind foreigners that never paid a dime in to the system who's entire life is being paid for by our tax payer money, and if we take issue with any of it we're deemed "racist".
It's such a pet peeve of mine. I really want to be one of those patriotic citizens but our governments make it so hard to be.
How do you feel about veterans' kicked out of hotels to make room for.

Is the subject of this post something that actually happened? I'm assuming it was something in the news recently that sparked this post?
