I have lived in China for almost 2 years now. I'll admit that I didn't like Chinese people for some time, but that was because a Chinese girl was dating my ex at the time. To be honest, now, I love Chinese people. They are sooooo nice! I had a baby in China and they love to say "Nihao" to us and play with my baby. When I was pregnant they would give up their seat for me on the bus. My boss is Chinese and she is the most honest and fair person I have ever worked for. I have many Chinese friends and they love to come visit me and help me when ever they can. I love China and if it were in my power, I would never leave China. Most people here are so kind, friendly, innocent, loving, and generous. I also have much respect for China, because they play by their own rules and are not intimidated by anyone (USA) like everyone else is in the world. I hope I never have to leave. I love you China and your people!

But when they realized I was a foreigner,,they suddenly became so nice to me,,because they want to sell me things..
When s Chinese is nice to you, it means he/she wants something from you, or want to sell you something...if they think you are useless they can be so cold and will treat you like you are an animal.That is why they are very good in business,,no feelings, no empathy , only business sense.

One time, a taxi guy was really nice, and started complimenting Westerners - I had a great conversation but was always a little suspicious. He said, 'hey anytime you wanna a free lift give me a call'.I was amazed! At the end, I begged him for his card - underneath the phone number was 'Wang Feng tour guide'.
What about the animals who suffering in the greedy hands of the Chinese. I come from South Africa were we had another vicious attack were poachers have killed a beautiful male rhino. We are losing the battle because the Chinese have aninsatiable demand for rhino horn products.The price of rhino horn has soared where it is used in alternative medicine as a cure for everything from nightmares to dysentery. In South Africa alone, where horn is worth more per gram than cocaine, the monitoring network "Traffic" reported that 333 rhinos were killed last year, and 193 in the first six months of this year. In 2007, only 13 rhinos were poached.
THEREFORE I HATE THE CHINESE PEOPLE BECAUSE THEY STEAL THE HORNS FROM THE RHINO AND THE TUSKS FROM THE ELEPHANTS.
When you say 'the Chinese' it doesn't mean all of them, but it's not that populated in the West and some countries only it farm-animal food. Yes, they kill animals but it's not greed, there's historical reasons too. The animal parts are usually used in medicine, Chinese medicine, hospital visits etc. are really expensive, China is an expensive country in some ways.
I'm a semi-vegetarian and people in China have biased opinions of me just because of that.
Not all Chinese people are like that- THEY CAN'T ALL AFFORD TO BE EATING RHINOS ALL DAY... but yes it is true :(.
Rhino horns are used for ornamental or (pseudo-scientific) medicinal purposes. The horns are made of keratin, the same type of protein that makes up hair and fingernails. So if they want that keratin then they must eat their own fingernails as that is what the horn is. Don't kill a soon to be extinct animal for some old believe - it is crazy.
True, but Chinese usually respect forgeingers (peope-who-don't-look-Chinese) then their own race. It's true. I'm Chinese. It depends, not all Chinese people are nice and not all of them are: mwuhahaha I am gonna bomb America.
By the way: in China people are intimidated by the CCP so they don't say stuff like: "I hate Mao ZeDong." out loud- that's why they have underground Churches and censored Bibles in China.
But yes, China is a beautiful country (not in places that are over populated) I agree :D. It just lacks freedom :'(.
