I hate Russians! I don't mean people of Russian decent but people raised in Russia. I have no idea why it's one part of my life that really bugs me. I hate every thing about them! And no I have never had a bad experience with a Russian, I have never been to Russia, and no my parents are not racist like me at all

I work as a waitress and russians are the cheapest, rudest assholes I have ever met !! And it's not just one, it's EVERY Russian that comes in. They smell like they just got out of a swimming pool of cologne too, and I fucking hate their gross accents. Ugh.
Are you sure you are enough familiar with different eastern european accents or do you just qualify all of them as "Russians" ? They may be Romanians, Moldovians, Poles, Ukranians, Slovak, Lithuanian etc ?? I can also presume that your prononciation in foreign languages is amazing. Well at least they're trying to speak english, unlike the US & British people who think that everybody must understand their english, wherever they are.

I was born in Russia but have immigrated at the age of 3 and have been living abroad with my parents since. Ethnically I would not describe myself as a Russian or even a Slav for that matter, since my ancestors have come from all over the world and were people of all different nationalities. I am, however, a Russian citizenship holder and this has caused numerous problems for me in terms of obtaining a residence in the country which I now live in. I am a high school student but I will graduate in 2 years and that is when both my own residence and those of my parents will expire. When this happens, I will have further problems obatining a residence in the country that I plan to study in. Another problem that I often face is being unable to fit in. People commonly associate me with Russian stereotypes, offering me vodka and staring at me in disbelief once I tell them that I don't drink. Oftentimes people yell "PUTIN! PUTIN! PUTIN!" Not all Russians are huge Putin supporters, and even if the majority of our population adores the president, I am certainly not one of them. Sometimes when people find out about my nationality they turn and walk away and one time a Ukrainian lady told me "We're deeply hurt! Your presence is offensive to us!" I am ashamed pf being a Russian and when the topic of nationalities come up I just shrug and say "I don't know, I'm such a mix that it's hard to say exactly who I am". Russians tell me that I'm a traitor and that I'm not a true patriot but I would not like to associate myself with this country anymore.
Buddy, it's not a shame to be Russian.It doesn't mean what nation you are because people are different. There might be assholes in Russia and in another country. And if you hate people they hate and despise you too. You're right that Russia is an isolated country but this only depends from the government. It gives people low salaries , low standard of living , low level of knowledge. Government gives people less freedom .Not like in the US. Mindset depends from conditions in Russia and people's attitude to life . I have imported peanut butter and the lid closes really quickly. It's called Jif (which used to be household cleaner in this country until we had to rename it) and is made by the J. M. Smucker company of Orrville, Ohio. Over the ingredients label, the English distributer has stuck another label which has all the nutritional information they are legally obliged to include here and it spells things "fibre" instead of "fiber". It also spells the product as Jiff when I can clearly see from the rest of the labelling that it's called Jif in America. I wonder whether it's someone in England spell-correcting and assuming the name was "jiff" as jiff and jiffy are two words often used here. Either way, it tastes pretty good despite having flown further in its lifetime than I have.
Finally, I've always been fascinated with Russians and Russia itself. Although, of the two Russians I have known personally, one of them stalked me in a way that, while well-meaning to her, still scares the living daylights out of me nearly two years on (with no contact from her). Still like Russians, though. Interesting and clever people.
I have this problem with plastic lids...grr. But my peanut butter comes in a glass jar with a metal lid. These are easier for me to operate. The Maranatha brand of nut butters are my favorite. Yum!
As for Russians, I have a strange love for them. I think they are adorable- don't know why, just do. So I guess hating them isn't too abnormal except for the fact that you hate for no reason. That's sad.

I'm from Greece and we Greek women hate Russian women with all our hearts and souls! They came into our country and stole everything from us. Our jobs, our men... They have no shame and no morals. As much as I don't like feeling that way, I just can't help it. I've seen many good families ruined by Russian women. They do whatever they can to steal men from other women and "dry" their pockets. Sorry if I offended someone but there are so many examples here that I've lost count...

Well America has no reason to hate Russia. But alot of countries do. Particularly the Central Asian countries situated around Chechnya. The Poles, Czechs, Slovens, Slovaks, Ukrainians, and basically all East Europeans countries have reason too. I know a couple of cool Russians. I suppose it's normal to dislike a specific culture if you have valid reasons, and people growing up in that specific culture will obviously reflect it. But hating Russians without reason is odd.

Just today, I was in a store, and I was lining up, waiting my turn. The guy ahead of me was taking such a long time, so I stepped out of my spot for a few seconds to grab a snack that was literally two feet away.
But then this Russian guy shoves his cart ahead, and takes my spot. He knew I was there. He was right behind me. I only stepped out of line for a few seconds.

I'm a Russian. You have only to understand a simple thing. If you live in a good country and love it - this is normal. If you are in a bad jail and hate it - this is normal too. Russia is a prison where some normal life is not possible. If a Russian or someone who is well informed says he love Russia, then it is only a hypocrisy or lies. In the given case a man said the same who was in Russia never, then it is possible a lot of reasons, including he feels it intuitively, but it's not the main thing. If someone says truth in is normal always.
