I love 1 person talking to me & i hate more than 1 person talking to me at a time, most tals with more than one person doesn't leave me a space to talk. I think a lot and I have my opinions on most of the paragraphs they say but I cant express it
Im terrrible with a group because I have bad timing I just interupt unintentionally. And if ppl talk over me I continue to talk and finish my sentence while both of us talk because if I dont ill get cut off and never get a word in. Ive never had great social skills.
It's harder than people give it credit for.
I would say my social skills IRL are actually pretty good, but I still have the same problem you've described here of accidentally interrupting people. I also find other people talk over me a lot and it's hard to know how to respond.
I think most people struggle with these things on some level.
I find working/socializing in a group more confusing and overwhelming, I prefer one on one talks too, more direct that way.
In a group you have to wait for the right time with just the right quick-witted thing to say
1 on 1 it's all about give and take on deeper levels
