Definitely and it only gets worse, though it's different from men and women and it depends on how well settled you are in life. I'd say that the clock starts ticking at different ages for most people, depending on the situation. In life it's never too late to do anything. Saying having 22 years old is synonym of being old is a blasphemy to older guys. Of course that we all want to be seventeen forever, but it just doesn't happen that way, life can actually get better with time as you get wiser and wealthier.

Afraid of being 22? Try being 42. My mom don't understand that, she says "try being 70". Being a particular age is only scary until you're not that age anymore.

isn't it weird how women are supposedly in their primes in their early to mid twenties, but for guys their primes extend into their thirties, when most people would consider women of similar ages to be all washed up.

The prime of your life at 22? I believe if you ask older people and they would say the prime of life is from their 30's and 40's.

You commented on both of the posts I made a while ago and replied to this comment. They all had to do with age. Is this just a coincidence? Do you know those are my posts somehow?

          Nope. Just co-incidence I guess.

I've been having a miniature existential crisis myself.

You're barely out of your teens. You're still VERY young.

22 is NOT old sweetie. You haven't even hit your prime yet which is still years away.

Man, your life must suck badly for you to feel old at 22. Must not have a lot going on, huh?

I am 23, and I get where you are coming from. You are almost thirty years old. Here pretty soon your eggs will be too old to have a healthy baby.

I didn't freak out when I was 40, it was in fact a surprisingly good year for me. Maybe some of it was that for so many years, I heard so much "oh no! 40!" so much, that I expected the worse. And it wasn't. It was also a time period when I finally got over some problems I had previously, so it was a pretty good year. This year at 42 though, that's been another matter. I've been out of work too though. Physically, I have began to notice this year for first time how climbing stairs is starting to get more of a pain, I pull muscles more easily than before, and I tend to eat something that gives me "trouble" more often than before. And the "trouble" hits me worse than before when I get it.

It doesn't get easier by 27... gotta birthday coming up in T-17 days...

You learn to be more efficient with your time with he passing of the years. Get a really fast-paced job or have a family or something.
