i hate it when people chew loudly or make chewing noises?

Okay this isn't anything serious or something that bothers me a lot, but when someone around me make loud or slightly "gross" chewing, slurping noises it really bothers me for some reason? If the person is especially chewing in a disgusting way it might even make me slightly agitated. I also hate it when people chew with their mouths open. Is it normal?

    I agree. Sometimes I can not eat in a restaurant when people are chewing in a disgusting way. I also hate it when people stick their tongues way out to grab the food of the the fork. Are they that hungry?

    Normal. I can't stand it when i can people chewing from 6ft away, would it kill you to catch up with the rest of the civilized population and not chew, mouth open, lips smacking, teeth snapping..it's just gross. Even as a kid (when most people eat with their mouth open) i found it foul, and when you're forced to sit opposite another kid at lunch, and watch the first stages of digestion of their sandwich, it really puts you off lunch..

    It is amazing how many adults will chew with their mouths open in public! And you know darn well that their children are learning by example.
