Yes it is a behaviour to be concerned about. Get some professional advice. The earlier you can diagnose and treat the better the prognosis.
I went through a time of deeply painful emotions before and after my paternal grandmother passed away, and developed a stutter for a while. I was 39 at time, and had previously worked most of my life relying on my ability to communicate clearly first in radio broadcasting and later in *gasp* tier II technical support. I have a deep, clear and resonant voice, but for whatever reason I developed a noticeable stutter for several months. I believe that my stutter was a product of deep grief and some other personal trauma with which I was afflicted at the time.
Only worry about it if it bothers you maybe see a doctor I don't know what they can do but its got to be more than some random strangers on the internet.
