A "ghost" called my dad?

Okay, I know this sounds like bullshit, but just read.
So I don't believe I ghosts, so this was preatty weird. My dad asked me if I called him after I got of work. I answered "no?" Because, well I didn't call him. He seemed confused because around 4:00 he got a voice mail saying something like, "Hey dad its Hailey. I just got off work and I just wanted to say hi.
I really miss you."
(My names Hailey by the way)
The voice mail sounded like a 10 year old girl, Im 19. I have no younger siblings, and the caller I.D. Was "unavalible". The next day I felt a hand grab my shoulder and nothing was there. This is really freaking me out... Should I be concerned? Is it normal?

    Could be a reason of things. Logically it was probably a wrong number, but that's boring though :D My theory is, that in an alternate reality, an alternate you made a call to your Dad, which slipped into our reality. A "Doppleganger" if you like. Once me and a friend heard a voice come through our computer speakers "Hello? Is anyone there?"

    I Like Danny's explanation. It does make one wonder.

    Scientifically, there are 2 explanations to this. 1) it was a wrong number and a really interesting coincidence, and 2) it was a friend of yours playing a prank, using a sibling/cousin. Making the phone read unavailable is quite easy to do. (google it, theres a key sequence you dial first to make it show up)

    Paranormally, there are many different things that this could be. If it was recurring - ie, he was getting called everyday at a certain time, that would be a residual energy. But since this has only happened once the chances are that it is an intelligent energy. It hasn't done anything to be hostile. Perhaps its a girl spirit and she sees you like a big sister? I would suggest buying a voice recorder, and asking her questions to see if you get some EVP action. Just keep in mind that it takes HOURS, not minutes like in the tv shows.

    Another interesting point to make is the time this happened with your dad. Keep a paper handy, and record all the times you notice things. "Witching hour" is around 3-4am. But sometimes the time can get inverted, and is 3-4pm. Energies tend to pick up around those times.

    For now, I would suggest treating it as a little sister, or at least a child. Leave a ball out to play or try to ask it simple questions. Let it know you care, and it might just be enough to let it cross over.

      Thanks, this was really helpful.
      I was trying to think of a logical explanation, but that would be a really strange wrong number coincidence. And as for a prank call, I don't think my friends have my dads cell phone.
      I'm really starting to think it IS paranormal.

          Correction: "Witching Hour" is typically past midnight or the 'time in the middle of the night when magic things are said to happen,' It can also mean midnight.
          3 am is the 'devil's hour' as
          opposed to 3 pm, the 'hour of
          mercy.'

    This happened to my grandma. Right after her dad died & before she found out, she got a call with from her dad & as soon as she said "dad?" he stopped responding. And then she found out he had died. I believe in paranormal shit though.
