    Sometimes I get so excited about reading my book or writing my own book that I just enjoy that feeling and then never go do what I was excited about in the first place.

    To me it sounds like when I really wanted to kiss someone for the first time but when I was about to do it I stopped and was just paralyzed by how perfect everything would be the next second.

    ...idk just my thoughts haha

    Motivation was so strong that it short circuited and fried a few of the author's motor neurons. Hence he became paralyzed.
