I have a phobia of poorly done taxidermy, can't even find a name for the phobia, there are memes and stuff with bad taxidermy.
Found out I had this when I saw the thumbnail for the VSauce video: "Why don't we taxidermy humans?" this is still easily the most terrifying photo I know, when I see that bloody image I have to scroll away or click off the page, albeit the other bad taxidermy does not have as much of an effect, but I still don't like to see it.

    I don’t know the name but it would be because of the uncanny valley where something looks realistic but off like a robot with a fake human face, taxidermy would probably give off this same vibe especially bad taxidermy

    I feel that it is normal, maybe not common, but understandable. The thought of something that used to be an animal turned into something strange and unrecognizable may be unsettling.
