A question for those good with technology

For someone of my age I'm not great with technology, I'm a gamer so I know about console gaming etc but I've never had much experience with laptops or pc's I use my phone for everything I'll be getting a kindle fire and I have a question about tablets, I've googled it but nothing for my specific question.

What are budget tablets such as the kindle fire like for gaming? Obviously I know it can't play things like crysis or battlefield but I was wondering, will I be able to play games such as amnesia the dark descent? I've wanted to play it for ages, what about other downloadable games or flash games, or am I stuck with what's on the play store and the sort of games I can play on my phone?

I would not choose somthing like kindle fire. If you're going to get a tablet for gaming I would recomend Razer Edge Pro.
    64gb it's $757.78
    128gb from $999.99
256gb you can get used for about $639+
the cheapest of them is the 256gb so go for that

Thing is, budget tablets have crappy GPUs and RAM. Gaming on tablets still has a long way to go but I find iPads to be better. The App store has some pretty interesting titles like Asphalt, Dead Trigger, Infinity Blade and a whole lot more

The only games that you can play on a mobile device other than apps in the app store and some browser games are known as Emulated games. in the app store you can download whats known as a ROM emulator and it will play ROM files, (files ripped from another game) for a specific platform.

For example I downloaded the Emulator for the Gameboy Advance platform (GBA Emulator) and now I can play Various Gameboy Advance games like Pokemon Emerald and other titles on my mobile device.

There are many emulators for many platforms available. All you have to do after you get the emulator is google search for the ROMS of the game you want to play,(I.E. google search: Pokemon: Emerald ROM) and download it to your phone or tablet, idealy on an SD card. But the root download directory on the phone memory works just fine as well.

This works on devices with storage and internet. Im not sure if the kindle line of devices will support this. But tablet PC's and Smartphones will.

Let me know if you have any more questions.
