A question for you religious folks

I always heard christians say the Bible is evidence of God but yet they call their belief "faith" which is belief without evidence. Can any christian tell me why the belief is still considered faith even though most christians say the bible is proof? It confused me when i was religious and it still confuses me now.

faith 10
fact 6
fiction 4

Simple answer.... Faith is a belief, it's what keeps us going and is very important. The special qualities of a Christian is we believe what we want to believe,, we are not judged for believing or not believing and that's what every religion should be like, " free believers". There is no evidence that any religion is true!. My motto is believe what you want to believe, if it gives you a sense of direction, morals, guidance then it's for you but don't let it cause hate because for all we know it's all a load of bullshit.

The bible is noting more than a fictional work written in the 1600's by a bunch of religious scholars, to please King James.

I understand why you might be confused, but the Bible was written in ancient times of Christ (and before Christ), but the King James Version was made to please him.

The faith part is believing that the bible is an evidence.

Faith yes. Most Christians believe most of the stuff in the bible on blind faith. BUT if they see a wet paint sign.....well you know. ;)

La Biblia está notando más que una obra de ficción escrita en el 1600 por un grupo de estudiosos de la religión , para complacer a King James .

Quizás se trata decir "nada más" (nothing more) en cambio de "notando más" (noticing more).

Some people say that the stories of the bible tie together perfectly, though they were written hundreds of years apart or what have you. They blame any imperfections on the fact that it was translated by men but say that, otherwise, there are no contradictions. Supposedly, any moral issue a person can have is covered somewhere in the bible. I don't know personally, as I've only read a couple books from it, but this is what some believers say. And then you have to have faith the it was by the intelligence of God, not man, that the bible was written.

The bible, if not forged(it was forged), could be seen as evidence that extraordinary events happened some 2 millenniums ago, which could lead to the conclusion that no matter how far our current technological advancement is, our realm could harbor seemingly unexplainable beings that can interfere with our life.
