Hello. I'm sure many people on this site are in some sort of school, be it university or high school, and I'm not sure if everyone feels this way but I, for one, am extremely proud of my professors.

I know, I know, it's not like I had anything to do with their knowledge or their PhD's, but I can't help but feel a tinge of pride to know I am being taught by them. Have you ever met someone who is so intelligent, you feel like you'd do anything to know as much as they do? That is how I feel about a few of my professors, especially my Literary Studies professor. She is amazing.

Her well of knowlegde seems endless to me and she is so poised and calm and yet sarcastic at the best of times. With the parting of her lips, she commands my attention for hours, along with my classmates. Everyday I am once again enthralled by her and proud to know I am her student.

Is this normal? Do you feel this way about someone?

    that's awesome, i'm glad you have such amazing teachers! I think combobreaker in the earlier comments said it best, that's what every teacher would love to cause their students to feel! :)

    This is atrocious. You're basically a disgrace to society. NO ONE else feels this way and I fail to understand how anyone could see this as normal. People like you disgust me with your abnormal ways of life.

    Thats absolutly normal. It's not just normal, it's what effect every teacher should have on their student.
