A vlogger recorded me without asking first

A vlogger came into an ice cream shop my friend and I were in and pointed his phone at us and started talking to us. It was really uncomfortable and I wish he would've asked us if we were okay with it first. Is that normal for vloggers?

    I see the invasiveness of it. But I also see that they want raw interviews. You can always say you don’t feel comfortable. Saying no is cool.

    Do you think they'd accommodate you if you agreed on the condition that they blur or otherwise don't show your face?
