About being pure

How does one stay innocent and pure throughout life? I'm not asking for advice, I'm generally curious. How does one have the perception of purity in a world that'll beat people to a pulp? I get living in balance, but one must accept the bad, not just the good.

This is why my perception and many others are corrupt. We have seen some stuff that we now cannot unsee. This world is messed because of humanity's poison. Slowly but surely, there will be a second great depression due to not meeting the requirements to live. Hell, I feel bad for what's happening in the Eastern hemisphere.

Anyway, maybe that's where the saying 'ignorance is bliss' comes from? To be blissfully unaware of what's happening around the world (unless they're kids), is in fact ignorant.

Help us keep this site organized and clean. Thanks!

Being ignorant =/= being pure and innocent

Wise as serpents, innocent as doves.

A person being “pure” is just a concept, an invisible, man made idea.

To put some sort of genuine stock in it is delusional.

      No, it isn't.

I just proved it is by way of it being nothing more than a concept. A vague, poorly defined one at that.

Are you saying there is no such thing as "purity"?

I’d go as far as to say that in the sense you’re referring to it’s ridiculous.

In the grand scheme of things it could also be termed meaningless.

    Let me guess, normal-rebellious?

    Oh, and I agree.
