Adults using dummies to sleep and relieve stress.
When I was getting divorced I could not sleep. I got a babies dummy and slept well. I am now hooked on my dummy and use it every night to sleep. I even use it juring the day too when I am on my own.

Thanks, i had no idea dummy meant pacifier. It would've been creepy to sleep with a doll 0_o. Anyway, no, i don't find it normal either way, but whatever floats your boat. Maybe it's the rhythmic movement that gets you sleepy, some people like to rock back and fourth before falling asleep.
I actually thought it was a doll too but I get it, now that you point it out :P
I've never heard of a pacifier being called a dummy
Yes, Pacifiers, Dummies, dum dums, dodes, what ever you want to call them. Pasifiers.
I use one to prevent air loss when using my CPAP nasal pillows, combined with a chin strap. It works when everything else didn't. It does move teeth, though, as I've noticed my uppers moving forward (very slightly so far) and my lowers backwards but I think of this as a small "cost" for the benefits of eliminating sleep apnea, even if the movement over time is a lot it's worth it, to me.
If it helps, then do whatever feels right. I have one that I use sometimes, but only ever alone at night.
Reminds me of the movie dinner for shmuks, the guy who had a doll for a girlfriend lol
