Following the alleged crash, capture, whatever of a UFO at Roswell, the tech industry started to embark upon major advances shortly thereafter....transistor, integrated circuit, computer hard disk, teflon, barcodes, fiber optics, wireless remotes, solar cells, univac (first commercial computer) etc. Coincidence?

No because you can see a gradual evolution of all the technologies before 1947.
Back then, technology was already way more advanced than people knew of, just like right now.
What a bunch of bull it was a weather balloon that fell from the sky. The technology you speak of was experimental and unknown to the average joe.

It was probably because it was just after the war that technology started to take off around then. Computers technology was boosted by the war. Plus I don't think it'd really help us all that much technology-wise for a UFO to crash. It'd be too advanced to help us, it'd be like giving a laptop to the ancient egyptians. It just wouldn't make the slightest bit of sense to them.
Another interesting conspiracy is that the sphinx was almost completely buried and they dug up a lot of ancient egypt and started studying the hyrogliphics in the late 1800s and shortly after came the industrial revolution. There's also hyrogliphics of jets and tanks and helicopters that look the exact same as what we have now. Its probably a coincidence but its interesting to go down the rabbit hole if youre into that.
The sphinx and the pyramids were created as a tourist attraction in the 1800s. They made it look as if they were dusting away the sand around pre-existing structures when in fact they were carving them out of the bedrock. That's why you never see photographs of the pyramids before 1840.
