Sometimes I don't quite listen to what someone is saying or I might not understand what they said and I'll just laugh, agree, or nod my head saying "ya I totally agree" but I didn't really hear what they said. Sometimes it works but other times it doesn't.

    all the fucking time!!!! I hate that, but i try to ask them to repeat what they're saying at risk of annoying them!

    It's pretty normal it's in pleasant people's brains to be placating and you dont want to admit you didn't catch something in this world that runs on always being on the ball.
