I'm 20 yrs old and studying pre-med at Uni. At heart though, I'm an artist and more interested in the world. I have these dreams to paint a masterpeice with my own blood, paint and dance with gypsies, sleep on epytian cotton, travel through a desert, spend nights with Thai hookers (I'm bi), smoke with medicine men, just so many things. I daydream constantly but I don't know what to do. Is this normal and will I grow out of this? I feel like a completely different creature from everyone else.

    Keep doing what you like to do ... PAINT! Make your paintings and spread your art everywhere on eBay once u raise enough money in a while take a trip to places u want to see do what you like while u paint what you like

    Just do it, you'll regret it if you don't and don't worry about income, you'll find plenty of jobs while traveling/exploring :-) Go for it

    Wow same thing here. This day and age seems to attached to the job titles we hold and other wordly possessions. I want experience and memories. Not money and stability/routine. I'm 20 studying business and i hate it. I don't know if it's cause were young or just different. But I wish we could all just live our lives the way we want......

    I'm the same way I love exploring.... Going anywhere I've never been is so exciting... If I spend to long in the same place I get really bored...

    Well money is an issue. I can't travel without an income. I guess my problem is that I want complete freedom- I don't want to be chained to a job my whole life. I know that's ridiculously unrealistic but it's true.

    It's really, really simple. If you want to do it, it's all out there waiting for you. It honestly is that simple. If you don't, then don't. Only you can answer that.
