Am i losing my hair/baldening?

So I'm 19, got curly hair and it's very long right now so I've got a weird messy jungle on my head, and I've noticed that all around the crown of my hair there's less hair and my scalp is visible. I've been told that it's because I've got too much hair so it makes it weak, that it's because I'm too stressed (which is true) or because I eat too much fried food (which isn't true) and other stuff that don't make too much sense.

I've never noticed this before, I've been told I should cut my hair and that it'll look good cuz "guys are naturally not supposed to have long hair" and stuff like that but honestly I don't wanna get a haircut, but I don't wanna lose my hair either. I don't know if I'm baldening or what, I haven't noticed any hair loss really but this is something that I just recently noticed.

I'm actually not entirely sure you're balding. Many people with thinner hair have a visible scalp near the crown or any parting, even women.

  • My relatives? Nope, they're very "normal", this is just me being me really.

Maybe your losing your hair because your listening to people who are telling you your losing your hair so your stressed which leads to the hair loss.

Relax, hair loss is normal. Try to style it differently so you like it or wear hats.
