I speak to girls of all races and I flirt with a lot of them. However, I would not go out with anyone but a white girl. Does this make me racist?
If you wouldn't date someone who you like and find attractive solely because of their race - then yeah - that's racist. If you don't like and find attractive another person solely because of their race - then yeah - thats also racist.
Just because you wont go out with a black girl doesn't make you racist. You just prefer white women. If you were racist you would say you hate all black girls... Racism is when you hate a group of people because of their race. You would be friends with black girls but you would not date them. You would be racist if you HATED them, just because you wont date them doesnt make you racist.
I have a preference for white men, but I can find other races attractive. If I ever dated a black man they wouldn't act "gangsta," even if I like rap music, I wouldn't want to be seen under the arms of someone who looks like a drug dealer.
There is a black guy in my class who has the hots for me I think, and he's cute, and he doesn't dress and act like a thug, but I just don't feel his personality. I feel more attracted to the personality of white guys I don't understand it, but I just do, and I don't think that makes me a racist, especially since I love everyone of every color equally.
Actually I forgot to mention I think that black guy in my class thinks I'm a whore, because one time in class when he helped me with something on the computer he said "You can thank me later" and winked. WTF is that suppossed to mean? LOL. He's weird, but everyone else seems to think he's so "cool."

it just means you have a type. if I said that I would only go out with redheads then you might think that I'm kinda strange but you probably wouldn't think I'm racist. whenever skin color is involved people get all weird.
I hang out with men of all types. But I am not attracted to redheads. Does this make me racist against the Irish? That being said, you should be careful how you *word* those preferences, depending on who you're talking to. If a stranger heard you say "I don't date black chicks" they might take it the wrong way.
If you're not dating them because they're a different race, that's racist. If you're not dating them because you just genuinely aren't as attracted to them that's okay.
After all, we don't call someone sexist because they're only attracted to one gender now do we?
(keeping an open mind is good too though, Would you date a person of another race if you fell in love with their personality first?)
Being racist doesn't mean that you aren't attracted to someone who's not of a certain "race", it means that you think of them as inferiors in some certain way.
No you are not racist. Everyone has their own preference. Your preference is white girls. That's nothing wrong with that unless you don't date other girls because of their race :)
If you only find white people attractive, then it's not racist.
If you refuse just because the person is a different race, then it is racist.
You're not necessarily racist-- sexual/dating preferences are a natural thing. Certain people like certain visual traits. It's the way we're built.

Technically speaking, you are a racist in this aspect of your life simply because race is a key factor in determining whom you are attracted to. This doesn't make you a bad person but it does make you racist in this aspect.

Just means you have your tastes. Racism is more towards the way of thinking one race is superior or inferior to another. i'm a multi-talented extremely serious artist with a fancy for the female being. i find beauty in all races. i am prejudiced against no race. i love everyone. but i do have preferences. like long hair and the particular coloration of skin. i find black people are nicer than whites. i even know a black man that feels the same way. but i love a the silkiness of white girl's hair as opposed to the coarseness of a black girl's hair. but if i met a black girl who loved me to death i'd still have to turn her away due to the fact that i want brushing my wife's long hair to be a bonding/grooming ritual in our life together. that doesn't make me a racist. being picky doesn't make you racist, just human.
No, your a typical "Date but don't mate" type of person. Dating your own race only is fine. You only become a racist if you go above and beyond your typical disaproval of dating "non" white women.

umm no it does NOT make you a racist. before africans discovered that there were white people in the world, they only bred with their colored mates. Does that make them racists? NO.
Now there is the exception that African's DIDN'T have access to a rich and diverse bevy of women (as I am supposing you do *coughwinkcough*. So if you only associate with white girls, and totally exclude colored girls then yes you are a racist. However since in your question you succinctly stated that you do associate with all girls no matter their race, I would have to say that you are no racist.
Besides you're forgetting the most important point, you're human, you may say that you're not attracted to colored girls now .. but give it some time and pressure and friction and your predispositions will quickly (hopefully not too quickly) change.

While there are obviously more interracial relationships and marriages today, statistically most people will still stick with their own cultures. That's a fact. Let's not talk about what a white person thinks about dating people of other races. Statistically, ethnic minorities will also tend to stick to their own cultures, that's the way it is.

Well, if you have no tensions or any bad feelings when your just talking to a white person, then you are definitely not racist. A racist person would actually hate every single person of that races' guts, as well as teasing them constantly, and maybe trying to persuade others that your race is better than theirs.
No I don't think you're racist. I think you treat every race with respect, but you just have a preference. If someone asked me to go out with a 4'11, 400 pound man, I would say no because I'm not attracted to that. That doesn't make me prejudice, I just have a type as long as I still show respect.
If you're serious about dating, it makes sense to me to stick to people who share your cultural vaslues - whether black, white or whatever.
This society is not as segregated as it was in the '50s, but I think there is still a difference in the avergage black and the average white.
