28, from where I stand (over 40), is pretty damn young. To some retarded 12 year old kid, 28 sounds ancient.

Youtube is the WORST when it comes to trolls. No really, it is THE worst.
Put it this way - it could be just a video with an album cover and a song from the late 70's or early 80's. Not too many 12 year olds would be looking up that.
But inevitably, there will be comments like "Your mom is a fag!" or "Dis suks, it sound like justin beiber!" and of course the comments about seeking the lord's glory.

You can disable comments on youtube videos.

Youtube is full of fortnite crazed children that were never taught what manners are and how to behave. Just ignore them, or turn comments off.

Seriously, if your kid goes on a video of some dude dynoing his car (or any random video) and goes "u suk and ur mother is a fag" you have failed as a parent and I hope for everyone's sake you don't have any more children.

28 is not old. People on the internet are really horrible. They will say nasty things, that clearly aren't true, just to be nasty in a lot of cases. They disagree with your politics? Then you're old, ugly, have a fucked up nose, saggy tits, etc etc. People can be real dicks when they're behind a computer screen, often without any real provocation.

28 is not old in the slightest. In terms of absolute physical fitness you're still damn near the peak. World-class professional athletes are still viable, and competitive, at 28, and women are still pretty much at peak attractiveness at 28. I really would just take this as a lesson to make sure you get a bloody thick skin if you're going to put both your face and opinion out there on the internet.

Funny how that one person said that "no one cares what old people talk about", but even as a young person myself, it's often younger people who I find less interesting, because many of them kind of act the same on YTB, and don't have as much worldly knowledge.

Is it possible that people are saying that due to the content of the video? I understand that you don't want to share the details here to protect your anonymity, but maybe just have a think about it. YouTube is full of youngsters, some of whom haven't even finished school yet, and if your video attracted any of those people and you didn't tell them what they wanted to hear then you'll be called old.

Also don't take it to heart. It's YouTube. It's full of people looking to say terrible things all the time because they find it funny. Also because you're female that attracts more hate - they focus on your appearance, weight, potential as a mother... Just anything that can be hurtful. Either ignore the comments or just respond with hilarious epic burns.

No, there are many YouTubers older than you, and 28 isn't even close to old. YouTube comment sections are full of trolls and little kids that probably shouldn't even have Internet access, so don't sweat it.
