Am i the only one who really hates cars?

In all honesty the world would be a better place if cars didn't exist. It'd be slower, but it'd be a lot safer. They've caused countless horrible things to happen to people and I have horrible anxiety attacks if I even think about driving one. My fear has even gotten so bad that I had to end a friendship with someone because they used to be scared, but then they started driving, and every time I was around them I thought about it and my anxiety increased. I don't think I'd mind never leaving my house ever again, ANYTHING to avoid those death machines!

Before reading the details of your post, I thought it was about the movie Cars. But anyway, cars are an important part of life. They're used to get people to their jobs(to make money), the stores(to buy food and clothes)to get to school(to be educated), and just about everywhere that requires someone to be able to live. Have you considered getting help to try to conquer your fear?

You need to face your fears and not hide away from them. Otherwise your life is gonna be ruled by the thoughts of what could happen. Who knows your house might catch on fire or a tree fall on it. Get some zoloft and live a little.

I'm taking Zoloft, and luckily I've calmed down since I've posted this

While I don't have a fear of cars per say, I do know that I hate driving cars, especially in the city and/or during the winter months. Finding a place to park is awful as well. Generally speaking, if I could walk, I do so.

A lot of people have been commenting all the sudden! I'm working through it, I think my fears are still valid but I'm a bit more emotionally stable
