To the yellowM:
Everyone has different beliefs. To put someone down because they believe differently than you is ignorant and rude. I am sure that those who believe on God look at you and say exactly what you just said. It's ok to have your own opinion on te topic but it's not ok to tell people that what they believe is wrong.
To the OP: I personally don't believe in ghosts or whatever either haha but to each their own I guess
I think about that all the time. But I also see the other side...I believe in ghosts & spirits BC Ive had expieriences, BUT I dont believe in a God per say. I believe theres something else after we die...just not sure about what it is exactly.
Well yeah, I know some people who say they know how to catch ghosts and think Christians are morons for believing in god. I really don't understand how you can believe in ghosts and think Christians are morons. I kind of thought that type of thing went together. I mean if you have a belief like this you really have no room mocking a similar belief of that nature.
They have nothing to do with god! But it's crazy that people believe in ghosts. I do believe in demons though.
My brother and his girlfriend were walking around campus after a party and on that night like two years ago there had been a suicide and they just felt like evil around them and they couldn't even explain it.
And so they were passing a chapel and they heard screaming and curses and so they went inside and there was someone they knew and she was drunk as fuck and she kept changing voices and personalities and and they looked in her eyes and it wasn't her.
She was possessed with like five different demons! And so my brother and his girlfriend were trying to perform an exorcism and when they touched her they felt the demons actually trying to attack them.
But they talked to the demons and kept asking for their names and idk all of them but one of them said he was loneliness. And he said it through the girl but it sounded like a guy. And so they cast out the demons but it took like an hour and they were constantly praying and calling us to pray
But there might still be 1 demon left in her cuz a guard came in and kicked them out cuz they didn't believe the story he just thought she was drunk. But he says there is still evil around campus and for us to be praying for him.
It is also funny when people say 'what the hell' when they don't believe in heaven. Or I heard an atheist say 'satans gunna kill me if I don't kill myself' weird? VERY!!
It's called FAITH in God. That's what you gotta have-period! Ghost, I truely believe they exist. One more thing-how can ALL this exist, from the stars to the intricate workings of a grasshopper without a God!
I believe there is some form of spirits/ghosts out there (mostly because my sister and I both saw shadow men in our house at a very young age. i googled it and it turns out others have seen it too.)
I also believe in God.
@ BlackRoseVale
I can explain it easily, these occurrences are what i classify as hallucinations. It happens all the, some people take drugs to experience this but on the other hand you can have this happen to you when not under the influence of anything. The people that are afraid and freak out over these things are shoved into a halfway house and labeled accordingly, and the people that aren't afraid and can enjoy these manifestations usually will take the experience in and rationalize it by saying they've seen a ghost, god, an angel....whatever the flavor of the month is. I'm not recommending that you change the way you perceive life or what happens after the fact, just imagine if it didn't. You might call up your friend that you haven't spoken to in years, write a letter to a loved one, or go out there and experience more of what life has to offer. I try to harness every experience i can because in my mind i know that we are on this earth for a short time, and I will do whatever it takes to have fun while i'm here.
Not really...
I do find it funny when people believe in God but don't believe in ghosts though. Or when they believe in God but don't believe in magic.
I'm not a christian anymore, but even I know that there's mention of at least one ghost in the bible (the ghost of samuel in the story about Saul and the witch of endor) and mention of magic. And why would God warn against using magic if it wasn't real?
I don't think ghosts are related to God and vice versa.
It's a strange thing to question, I'd never actually though about it before now.
I see eye to eye with u. But when I see people who r like that I just say ur retarded, how can they both exist/not exist?
lol Yeah.
People are retarded. There is nothing. Nothing. Period. Nothing but this floating orb in the sky with overgrown bugs crawling around. We die.. and then we turn to dirt and make the flowers grow and it starts all over again. How difficult is that for people to understand? Evidently, very difficult indeed.
No God.
No Ghosts.
No horoscopes.
No 'spiritual' mumbo-jumbo crap.
Gimme a break. What a fairy tale nonsense. It's as if these people are like children. Next they'll be saying that they believe in the Easter Bunny too.
well no offence but for once let people belive in what they want to belive in
the problem i have with god/ghosts/magic/bullshit is that the real world around us is so mind-blowingly awesome that there's no reason for us to invent bullsh*t...from the tiniest atoms to massive clusters of galaxies we live in an amazing universe
the easter bunny is going to rain a parade of holy ghosts on your ass.. i'd be prepared if i was you.
I'm not joking :)
YellowM thank you, i know from a logical standpoint that is the truth. It is typical human nature to think God exists, and ghosts exist, when the bottom line is we are alive for as long as we can be then worms turn is into dirt. There was a point where everyone "knew" the world was flat....... The only reason ghosts or "god" hasn't been scientifically proved is because it simply can't. Although the human mind is quite the machine, have you ever driven by your favorite restaurant and swore you could taste the food, or seen something that made you vomit years ago and get queasy just thinking about it? Claims of ghosts and god experiences or sightings are manifestations created in your own head, not real. The sooner people can realize this they can focus on the real world and experiences that are happening every day. Because once your body gives up, and you have no mose fight left, lights out...game over.
I believe in ghosts but I'm kind of confused about god. I think of ghosts as more of a scary thing than peaceful. Ghosts doesn't mean god has anything to do with it.
I know that ghosts, spirits, entities, whatever you want to call them, are real. God however, no. And I don't see how they would be connected. Keep in mind that this is my opinion.
I never have given it much thought until I read your question. However, most people need to have an assurance of some kind of an afterlife. I think that maybe God is just a harder sell than spirits, or ghosts. I guess most people would like to have hard, empirical evidence, and in any group of people some will have seen a ghost. On the other hand, I don't think God has shown up corporeally, or otherwise since the Old Testament.
Hmm... I think about ghosts a lot but I still don't think they are related to God.
I believe in ghosts though, they do exist whatever they are.
