Am i the only who wants to see when a story is posted?

I would like a feature that says the date that the story or poll is posted. I think it would be a great idea. I just came up with this as I was looking through stories.

I have never thought about that 4
I don't think it matters 8
I am not sure 3
I just thought about this recently 3

    You can mouse over the comments and see how long ago they were posted. The oldest ones are a good idea of how long ago the story was posted.

      That is true, but you can't always tell the date that the story was posted by looking at the comments.

        You can get pretty close. I would say that the oldest comment is normally posted the same day.

          It gets problematic to find the oldest one if a story has hundreds of comments.

            Yeah but how often is that? I bet there are a lot more that have less than 5 comments than have over 100.

    I kinda wish things were dated rather than "6mths 2 wks ago" though I think the system in place makes sense, seeing as we're all over the place.

    That would be useful to know. I don't think it should be a major priority, but it would be a cool feature to have :P

    Not only that, I would also like the posts to mention if the person is still an active (like if s/he has commented within at least the last 3 months) user of this site because I have some old posts that are still open for comments.
