They are posted all over my town and the cats are all different. Obviously, there’s a cat killer in town and I think the owners need to wake up and realize that they are never gonna see their cat again. Keep cats inside people! No one likes them in our yards and they are too easy to capture because they trust humans too much.
Capture? In my neck of the woods they get mauled by other people's dogs. It's pretty sad.

Pitbulls aren't the problem here. It's just a lot of irresponsible people that leave their animals unsupervised.
What else are they supposed to do? What if you're wrong, and the posters actually help someone remember that they saw the cat?
Pets are precious to people, and they'll do a lot if there's even a minuscule chance of seeing them again.
This is confirmation bias. Its a flawed way of thinking. You made an assumption your insane conspiracy thoery is correct when it isn't. Animals go missing for a number of reason. Unless you live in a country and area where they regularly hunt dogs and cats for food. One example is places where they have the dog meat festival. Than its a very safe assumption.
Back 2hen I had a cat I never had to worry about escape attempts, if you carried him near the door he wpuld destroy you just to escape, just walking near the door, my mom always said don't leave door open blah blah blah. When we moved he had free roam tgat door was open all day and I he never event in that room once. My cat is inside/outside. He fucks everything up if I don't let him out. The neighbors pet him and feed him. And that pit comment is disgusting. My dog is a pit and him and the cat love each other. I always call them gay boys bc they clean each other and snuggle. DONT BULLY MY BREED, loser.

What a gem! I take actual life experience over what some club has to say. I've had way too much experience with pits to not say that they are by far THE BEST DOGS to have around a family. Obviously, regardless of breed, some dogs can be dangerous. But the "apbt" thing.. that's a type of bully. Mine is a mix and he's handsome. Pit bull terriers are ugly. Lol. There's so many different types of bully's. I think it's you who needs to do some research. But that's if you have time between your special education classes. Does your mother pack your lunch? Or does she make you eat the prison food?
i never said apbt are a bad breed, just because i understand what they're bred to do and how genetics control their actions and instincts doesn't mean i hate the breed for what it's purpose is. i don't hate border collie's because they have an instinct to herd. i don't hate labrador's for having an instinct to retrieve. the same as i don't hate or think apbt are a bad breed because of their instinct to be aggressive. you need to stop being fucking triggered.

"regardless of breed, some dogs can be dangerous." yeah that depends on what the fucking breed is. an apbt has a much higher chance of mauling the fuck out of another dog than a cavalier charles spaniel. apbt were originally bred for bloodsports, and when that was banned they were used in dog fights. dog fighting is banned now so they are now used for hunting game, particularly hog hunting.
apbt can be great dogs, i'm not denying that but only if it's under an experienced handler who knows how to securely contain an apbt and how to fucking discipline and control one properly.

This reminds me of something that happened in my section of town a few years ago.
There were suddenly a lot of missing cat posters around, to the point of it being a bit creepy. That's when one of the missing cat owners decided to investigate around the area. They talked to several people and one had found his cat bludgeoned and tossed into his own garbage can. Later the guy talked to some garbage collectors and found that they had seen several cats in dumpsters and cans lately.
Nobody ever discovered who was doing it but once it made the news the killings stopped. It was the first time I had ever heard of a serial cat killer before.

Personally whenever I see a missing cat, or dog poster I always say a prayer for the animal, and his or her family. I also keep my cat strictly indoors, because he's safer that way, and I am happier when he I'd safe, and sound. Dogs, and cats who stay indoors with their humans tend to be more obedient, and bonded to their people.
I don't don't care to see neighbors' cats in my yard trying to make it their territory, or antagonize my cat either of course.

Regarding the posters I'm annoyed because I think it's stupid and irresponsible to let your cat roam free and part of me is feels the owners deserve this.
In my culture it is considered cruel not to let a cat roam free... We install cat flaps in our homes for this purpose.
I can see that both sides have a point; I guess everyone is different.
It is crazy to see how many cat freak douchebags (americans?) will get mad if you have an indoor/outdoor cat. IMO it is more cruel to buy a cat for a shitty ass appartment where it will never see the light of day in a literal sense. if you live in an apartment or by busy roads then don't buy a cat unless you want to give it a half ass life trapped indoor. they wouldn't do that to a dog
Yeah, my cat is a spoiled little sweetheart. He doesn't normally get annoyed too much except when my aunt's shih tzu would try to get in his face, and then also when the shih tzu tries to hump my sister's poodle. I really don't like some scrappy neighborhood cat popping up in the garden acting like it owns the joint. Yanno?
Sometimes cats do genuinely get out, and get lost, or stolen, but when people get let their cats out they are putting them at risk of being hit by cars, attacked by large dogs, or even falling prey to coyotes, Bobcats.
I do kinda miss the desert when I think of the wildlife. I used to live in Las Vegas for 15 years. I don't miss the hot dry weather though! I also miss the legions of bunny rabbits would come out at night, and just take over our little community.
Oh, and let's not forget all the birds and mice that cats kill when they're allowed to run loose. Cats can catch toxoplasma gondii from the poor, little mice that they kill. Also I'm sure there are other parasites that they can catch from killing birds too.
I also can't stand it whenever people say you're not supposed to give a cat a bath, because my allergies are near none existant when my feline bestfriend is fresh, and clean.
So you have cat allergies but it's not a problem if you bathe him regularly? I'm severely allergic to cats but would love to have one if I didn't break out in rashes.
Well, I also take Zyrtec, and Flonase. If I had the money I would like to start getting allergy shots to be completely honest.
Bathing a kitty isn't necessarily a guarantee that you won't be allergic though. I used to be really allergic when I was in college, but I was also a smoker back then. I have basically quit smoking since I was about forty, sometimes I will have the odd smoke, but I probably don't smoke more than a pack's worth in a year. I do remember that my suite mate in the dorms snuck a kitten in, and I wasn't especially allergic to him. I think I am more allergic to some cats than to others, but for me it certainly does help that mine is a strictly indoor cat, and that I bathe him. I used to let him go out in the garden when we lived in Las Vegas, but he would roll around, then get dust, and pollen on him.

Meh, I'd rather my cat live his natural beast-like ways on the dangerous suburban street. But he does antagonize the neighbors dog. Which I know is rude, but also hilarious to watch! He eats all the mice, rats and voles. And my nieghbors appreciate that.
