Annoyed by people who bash other countries for the same things they do

Often I tend to see people online blaming and bashing other countries for doing the exact same thing that their countries do. For example, I tend to see Americans judging and bashing other countries and nationalities because they failed to take action on some environmental issues, branding them as uncaring and destructive, when the USA is one of the big 3 greenhouse gas emitters in the world and the American oil/auto companies are doing the exact same thing if not worse. Also I tend to see people from countries bashing and boycotting other countries for some atrocities, when the country they are from has an even worse record on that subject. For example, there was some country that had a single establishment for captive dolphins, and there was one person who called for a boycott of that country. Guess what? The country that he/she was from had 31 of the exact same establishments.

Basically, I get quite irritated when people from other countries start judging and bashing other countries when their countries are just as bad if not worse. Is that normal?
