Does anyone else on here own Tarantulas as a pet?

I got talking to a guy who breeds tarantulas in his spare time. It sounded pretty interesting so I might be getting one from him. I never even considered owning one before but I have enjoyed watching spiders in the wild and after our conversation I've been watching video after video on tarantula husbandry. They seem so easy to keep. So I might be getting a baby Mexican Rose Grey from him for cheap.

    I've always wanted to adopt one to overcome my fear of spiders. I'm worried I'd kill it in a panic though

      Actually I've decided against getting one. It sort of breaks my heart. I have an autoimmune disorder and I'm afraid their urticating hairs may set off a serious reaction in me. There are plenty of YouTube videos full of information and fun to watch if you're interested.

        I can handle watching them on a screen. And even though they're terrifying to me, they're also weirdly fascinating. What are some of the YouTube channels?
