Anyone miss the old days?

When I see any videos of sporting events or home videos from the 90s to 2008 it brings back nostalgia and I wish the world was still like that. Even down to the shitty TVs and the bad cameras. Down to the way ppl dressed and shit. The ugly cars. The way people interacted.

It still seems like yesterday to me! It seems like it was only a few years ago and not 13.

I think about this all the time. I miss the 90s when my grandaddy was still alive. He had 20 acres with chickens, horses, ducks, huge pond. We'd ride the horses and eat the chicken eggs in the morning. We'd fish and do abunch things like that. He'd teach me how to do things. The most charismatic person I've met, everyone in town knew him by name and about twice a year he'd throw a party at his house and 100s of ppl would show up from all over county and they'd spend like 10 grand in a single day feeding everyone. The mayor, sheriff, even a nascar driver would come (bobby hamilton), ppl like charlie daniels and a lot of random ass people from all over. He was a special person. One of those guys you cant help but like when you talk to him. He made you like him and could make everyone laugh. Always had a crazy ass story on standby. He fought in Korea he had all kinds of crazy stories

I am a bit disappointed that I never got to meet my great grandpa. He was a Finnish Nationalist soldier in the Finnish civil war of 1918, at the age of only 15, and then he fought in the Finnish winter war of 1939-1940.

You know im glad you brought that up because I dont know much about my great grandmother or great grandfather on my grandada side, I need to ask my mom. I met my great grandma once she was my grandad im talking abouts mom. She was born in 1899. She lives to be almost 101. So she lives through the depression, ww1 and ww2. Id give just about anything to sit down and talk to her now today. She passed about 6 months before my grandad did. I dont know anything about my grandads dad.
