Just don't buy apple products if you don't like what they're doing.

I've never been a fan of Apple, or the iPhone.

Apple's main focus has always been on removing things - the most important thing being a ridiculous amount of money from the bank accounts of the gullible.

I predict Apple's next big change will be moving to a subscription model. Soon, you won't be able to actually buy a iphone. Instead, anyone who wants one will have to put down a huge damage deposit and then pay a monthly fee to use the phone. (That would, obviously, be on top of whatever phone service providers charge.) In the small print of the Apple contract, there will be things like how you agree to have your phone disabled if you ever text anything critical about an Apple product or say any such thing within range of Siri's hearing, consent to the monthly charge increasing at Apple's whim, agree that the phone can be bricked and all your data deleted if you fall into payment arears, and accept that the amount of damage deposit you get back at the end of the contract is entirely at the discretion of Apple.

I'm sure millions of fools will be thrilled to sign on the dotted line and sing the praises of this wonderful innovation.

You're almost correct on the no screen. If you get the chip implant, then you can get text and picture directly to a contact lens and voice or sound to ear implant. With future development screen will be implanted in the lens on the eye.
