I have a drawer full of old broken iPhones. A strong wind would shatter their screens and the humidity from leaving them in the bathroom while you shower would give them "water damage". I switched to a Samsung(Android) and have never looked back. I think of Apple's to be like a Ferrari: its beautiful, feels wonderful, expensive -but expect to baby it because it's temperamental as hell. Samsungs are like a Toyota, virtually indestructable. But thats my experience, I haven't had an iPhone in 5 years or so, they're possibly less fradgable now.
I've always had Android. My close friends that had Android and tried Apple did not like them and switched back. To each their own I guess
Android for sure. They are way more customizable and a lot less expensive. Apple makes good products but they are over priced. And Apple shot itself in the foot by not sub-licencing to other companies. They want to be the one and only. It was the same with Betamax. It was developed by Sony I think who charged an arm and a leg for the players and cameras. Then I think it was Panasonic (could be wrong) that developed VHS and sublicenced it. The price came way down. People went with VHS for this reason. Beta is the better technology in fact there are still a lot of professional cameras and players that still use Beta.
I don't have a smartphone, I prefer the old regular phones with no internet. No one can track you on them.
Yes they can. If you are speaking of cell phones then the sim card is still recorded on each call. Only phase three phones are still in use in the US, so they can use multiple cell towers to triangulate your position to within 70 feet. And land line phones can be traced easily.
I'd rather have a phone that doesn't slow down to the point where I have to buy a new one every single year, so Android.
Apple. The definitive smartphone. May be more expensive but I’ve always considered them better quality.
