Are cold climates becoming less populated

I’m the opposite of most people I’ve met: I grew up in Georgia and want to move north. It seems like the northerners, especially the retirees, are moving south.

Despite growing up in the south I hate the heat. I always look forward to the period from November-March.

I visited family in Minnesota and I loved it! Despite being August the nights were cool. The latest I visited was October and there was a light dusting of snow.

But everyone seems to be leaving the large cities of the north: Chicago, New York, and Seattle all seem dying.

I’m moving north before it becomes too crowded here.

I cannot disagree with you there. I love the cold, not super cold, but snowy, however I find my chronic pain gets worse.

The midwest is stable as usual. All cities are shrinking... as people move to smaller cities. It's cheaper as it turns out.
