I'm entering my 3rd year of allergy shots. On one hand I am not as allergic to my triggers but I've noticed after every shot I'm sick for two days. Too tired to work or even get out of bed.
On top of that, I've been getting more colds and lung problems. I've told my doctor and he says it's normal but I don't think being this sick all the time is. Can allergy shots make you sick?

I got sick from allergy shots until I went to an allergy clinic. They gave me some injections to cool off my overcharged immune system, which was trying to suffocate me while attacking the allergens. Now I just use a nasal spray, along with some simple over the counter allergy meds.
I have no idea, I am going every two weeks now. Eventually I will be worked to once a month, once every other month so on and so forth until its just once a year. It depends on how well I am doing or if I go into anaphylaxis again.
To what are you allergic? I kinda would like to have allergy shots. I'm mildly allergic to felines, but I've become immune to my Siamese. Also he's pretty fresh, and clean. He lets me give him a bath, he's the best little guy!
Cats, dogs, horses, dust, mold (pretty sure that's not great for anyone tho) and basically any plant that has pollen. I can't eat honey and have to avoid bees. Certain laundry detergent, perfume, I've broken out in rashes from certain cleaners... That's from what I remember.
Despite the list and my constant sick feeling only allergies are not AS bad anymore. I don't react as badly so there is some good happening. I would consider them but be careful.
